                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 212 MOSS
                   AVENUE, FROM R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R-2
                   RESIDENTIAL ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 212 Moss Avenue, being
                on the southeast line of Moss Avenue southwest of
                Springdale Avenue.  Lots 15 and 17, block 4, Plan
                of Section No. One, Tiftonia, West Side Land
                Company's Addition, as shown by plat of record in
                plat book 11, page 6, ROHC; being the property
                described in deed book 3859, page 831, ROHC.  Tax
                Map No. 154J-A-32.
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to R-2 Residential Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall be subject to the following conditions:

              	   1.	Subject to the condition that only one structure be 

              	   	placed upon the property.
        
              	   2.	All existing easements are retained.
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
